what inform you feelinjg???????????????
i agree that first quater of the year is usualy good interms of capital appreciation, this include all the companies plus the dead ones too.
lots of money will be pumped into the market and so all the coy with enjoy appreciation.
the penny stock can easily get to double and even tripple easily than the blue chips, and so on that ground i will say most company priced below N3-4 now might hit double.

Smile Penny stocks

I think Universal ins. that is available is a good worth for your money at this time.Remember they are gearing up for Public offer, soon and that means increase in share price,at least until it's placed on technical suspension. There are Speculations it might hit the range of #7.00 by then.Any other informed opinion in the House?

bear in mind that going to the market for an IPO would expose any over-valuation of the company's stock and I think that is the challenge many penny stock coys have to grapple with. Many of such stocks (Big Treat, Tripple Gee, GM Meyers, Evans Med, insurance coys like Oasis Insurance, etc - all of which have been speculated as intending to come to raise money in the market) are trading at outragously high forward P/E ratios (often above 50 times), which is tolerated in the secondary market. But, to my knowledge, no coy has ever approached the market at a forward P/E ratio of 25 times in Nigerian history. Look at the PP memorandum of Univers. Insurance coy regarding its projected end-2008 P/E ratio at the PP offer price and scale this up by the ratio of its current market price to the offer price. Provided the result is still not more than a P/E ratio of about 20 times, maybe (and, grudgingly, maybe) you should still enter now. Otherwise, stay away - provided you are sure it will come to the market for IPO this year - as this would suggest the upper limit of its price for 2008 is close to being reached. You should also bear in mind that issuing more shares through IPO would further raise an already high P/E ratio. But, if you doubt it will come to the market, then, that is a different thing because prices just behave anyhow in the secondary market. The only check on market irrationality is when the coy is about to raise funds from the primary market.

The stocks are illiquid, they are in few hand and the few hands are not selling. should you be interested in buying those stocks you need to be patient. happy investing.
