When it makes more sence to buy from the floor that to take rights ..what will then happen to the share price? Ur guess is just as good as mine!

OANDO share price actually did more than 50% after the last rights issue i think..(or may someone educate me better?)

Past performance is not a guarantee of future results! I love the ambition of the management of this company but compared to the last rights issue, the following could be said about the current situation:

1. The market is now more knowledgable (especially about their usual antics and gimmicks)

2. The estimates or forecasts made in the last rights issue have not played out.

3. They are venturing into the upstream sector which of course is lucrative but also very risky.

4. The spinoff and listing of Oando Marketing is still a pipe dream.

5. The corporate structure keeps getting more and more complicated for valuation purposes.

I think this Guys may find it difficult selling their right offer reason being that sentiment is low toward Oando unlike the previous time. Most likely because of all the stories surrounding Oando. This will serve as lesson to other Companies that one day they will come for our money and we will judge them by their previous performance. Having said that I see the price of Oando goinging down after the right offer.

Abeg Ogas. I get some small questions. As regards the conoco acquisition, the effective date is jan. 1 2012. what does that mean? Does it mean that money conoco made in 2012 will go to OER and by extension Oando plc ? when do we expect to see the money in oando plc's financials?

But quick question, apart from the management problem Oando is having, i think they have the potential of growing in terms of their stocks price appreciation after their rights issue? When u say Apart from oando management problem, which other? I actually could not think of any.... But Eeeeehhh Management problem is the biggest problem a company can have..

It is only management problem that can make a company price fall from 70 to 12..

Its only management issue that can make OlenOle collect 35bill frm us 3yrs ago without using it judiciously..

Its only management stupidity that ll make a company wants my money to pay its own debt.
