Just this afternoon, the C-in-C called in Okupe and Abati...

C-in-C: What does all these opinion polls represent?

Okupe: Just people playing with their computer.

C-in-C: But it looks as though they are sending a clear message.

Abati: Never mind Sir, most of the voters aren't even Nigerians.

C-in-C: Sure?

Okupe: Certainly Sir. From investigations, the negligible number of Nigerians don't even have PVC.

C-in-C: Did you mention some Nigerians?

Okupe & Abati: ....(dead silence)

A Moscow man has taken a local McDonald's restaurant to court, complaining
of unpleasant odors emanating from the restaurant during the day and noisy
food deliveries at night.
MOSCOW, January 17 (Sputnik) — A court in the
north of Moscow has taken up the legal complaint
of a Moscow man against a McDonald's restaurant
over the unpleasant odors emanating from the
restaurant, LifeNews reported on Saturday.
60-year-old Mikhail Polyanskiy filed his complaint
at the Tver District Court, demanding that the
restaurant, located on the first floor of the
residential building in which he lives, takes
measures to eliminate the leak of the unpleasant
odors resulting in the process of cooking, and
to stop night deliveries disrupting residents' ability
to get a good night's rest.
"The smell of the frying is nauseating. It smells
in our apartment like it does in the [restaurant] itself. We have a common vent
pipe. How is this acceptable? Why should we have their smells in our homes?,"
Polyanskiy said, according to Echo Moskvy. He added that "in the summertime
it's just impossible to live."
The local restaurant, which was built into the residential building in the year
2000, has ignored Mr. Polyanskiy's complaints, and says it is ready to go
to court. The court is set to look into the complaint later this month. Mr.
Polyanskiy had earlier appealed to Rospotrebnadzor, Russia's consumer
protection agency, and to the local prosecutor's office, but was rejected,
Komsomolskaya Pravda has explained.
Last summer, nearly a dozen McDonald's
restaurants across Russia were forced to close
temporarily to resolve food safety and sanitary
violations. Russian inspectors carried
out inspections at over 200 of the restaurant's 451
restaurants in the country. A poll conducted last
October found that nearly half of Russians were
in favor of closing the entire chain permanently,
while a third of respondents objected to the idea.

The Wonderful Husband - Golf Jokes

Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A mobile phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.

MAN: 'Hello'

WOMAN: 'Honey, it's me. Are you at the club?'

MAN: 'Yes'

WOMAN: 'I'm at the mall now and found this beautiful leather coat. It's only $2,000. Is it OK if I buy it?'

MAN: 'Sure, go ahead if you really like it.'

WOMAN: 'I also stopped by the Mercedes dealership and saw the new 2015 Models. I saw one I really liked.'

MAN: 'How much?'

WOMAN: '$128,000'

MAN: 'OK, but for that price make sure it comes with all the options.'

WOMAN: 'Great! Oh, and one more thing, the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They're asking $950,000.'

MAN: 'well, then go ahead and make an offer of $900,000. They will probably take it. If not, go the extra 50 thousand if you think it's really a pretty good price.'

WOMAN: 'OK. I'll see you later! I love you so much! You’re so generous!'

MAN: “You’re worth it. 'Bye!'

The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, with mouths agape. The wonderful husband turns and asks: "Anybody know whose phone this is?"
