Vice President Namadi Sambo is getting a home worth N2 billion from the

government of Nigeria. There's a N50bn budget for the Federal Capital Territory and N2bn, according to the FCT Minister Bala Mohammed, is going into the construction of the official residence of Vice President Namadi Sambo, while N300 million is for the construction of the official residences of Senate president David Mark and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu; the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal; and his deputy, Emeka Ihedioha.

If new homes are being built for these individuals, one wonders where were they residing before now?

Also, the Punch reports that Information obtained from government aviation agencies and airline operators has revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan-led administration spends an estimated N9.08bn annually on the Presidential Air Fleet.

Seems like there is a lot of spending going on...

Bors, do the decisions of customary courts supersede those of regular courts? I do not think so. If she loses in "Customary court", all she has to do is go to "regular" court, where she will most likely win. I really don't understand why we think it's wrong for a man to distribute his estate as he deems fit and he has to be subject to some form of "custom".
