Ban religion if Nigeria must progress – Bongos Ikwue — The Punch - Nigeria's Most Widely Read Newspaper

SECONDED!! I believe religion is taking away more resources in time and money from Nigerians than corruption and oil bunkering put together. Like most industrialized nations we have to go through the stage of conquering religion before we can release our full intellectual capacities to innovate.

Amen. Most Pastors have come up with their prediction/vision for this year. Where is our prophet! We need prediction for this year that will indirectly generate a kind of deep analysis of the predicted stock. Thank you sirs/mas

Una wey dey show prophetic skills or wey like prophecies Naija style, oya take this one culled from FB :

PREDICTIONS 2013 -
1. Many reading this post today will have cause to celebrate in the first quarter of 2013. This particularly applies to job-seekers and those praying for fruits of the womb. At least 200 people reading this post will be employed before May. At least twelve (12) will get pregnant and give thanks to God while two (2) will get pregnant and runaway from home because pregnancy should not at this time be their priority.
2. Nigeria's unemployment figure will worsen in 2013. Figures that would officially be released would be seriously disputed by Nigerians.
3. Thirteen people among those reading this post will collect bribe before the 3rd of January 2013. Forty five (45) more will receive bribe before the end of February. Some of these are civil servants while 2 are policemen. Three of these that would collect bribe will on facebook condemn politicians for stealing money the very night of their collecting bribes.
4. Many politicians in Nigeria will change their party colours (decamp) in 2013. Some will change it twice before the end of the year. Some will cook up wicked lies against their perceived opponents in order to edge those out. The only professionals that will outdo politicians in change of affiliations in 2013 are bankers. Many bankers will change their bank affiliation in search of greener pasture.
5. Many politicians will continue to keep silent in the face of grave maladministration and plundering of the land. Their major fear for not speaking up will be the fear of not being considered for political appointments and contracts. Very many contracts will be awarded in 2013. Very many will never be executed.
6. There will be bomb blasts in Northern Nigeria in 2013. People should pray to avert these.
7. Serious prayers should be offered to prevent more road, sea and air disasters in 2013. Some prominent people will steal money meant for the roads and airports. Nothing will be done against these people except the usual Nigerian noise.
8. Some nationally prominent Nigerians will die in 2013.
9. Two very important African nations should pray to God to avert military coup in 2013.
10. Some lecturers will declare war against their students. Some will pointedly tell hardworking students that they will not make graduation. Many lecturers will only attend class once, twice or thrice before examination. Some audacious ones will declare that 'A' grade is for God. A lecturer in a South West university will use postgraduate students as free labour on his farm while some will send their post graduate students on errands such as 'go and buy epa, kulikuli and guguru' that have nothing to do with their research.
11. Some lecturers will insist of having sex with their female students as a prerequisite for a pass in 2013 while some top recruiters will insist on having sex with female applicants before giving them appointments. These people will however actively participate in discussions at home, at work and on facebook condemning politicians for leading Nigeria astray.
12. 2013 is a great year for men of God in Nigeria. Many men of God will continue to prosper and successfully store their treasures on Earth.'

Boss, if girls are having multiple boyfriends and the ratio of male to females is 1:1, then boys must be having multiple GFs. Equation don balance be dat! Nothin' loss
