The leaders from South East can invest in Agriculture in the middle belt or Northern Nigeria .

The Minister of Finance is of the opinion that limited land and erosion are the factors affecting Agriculture in the South East.

In a place where land is limited, it does not make economic sense to use land for Agriculture. You will derive more economic benefit per unit area if the land are used for Manufacturing, Industries, Businesses etc.

Lagos State just bought some hectares of land ion Ogun , Osun and Nasarawa States for Agriculture. Some foreign countries are equally investing in Agriculture by buying land in Africa.

Cooperative is the easiest and best way to go in business. Farmers can alway derive the benefits of economies of scale.
A farmer that can not afford to but a tractor of over 4 million naira, can always lease the tractor for about 20k per day.

Can this be true? The figure is on the high side. Unfortunately this business is controlled the Asians. When will Nigerians be equipped to tap into the enormous opportunities in Agri-business sector?

That means consumption of Tomato puree per citizen is roughly 7000 Naira. I think the figure is inflated. Except if some of the imported puree will be exported to other West African Countries.
