Sports Matters

This thread was started with the intention of discussing football issues. I have discovered that we discuss it on breaking news and state of the nation threads, which is not right.

N70 * 60 games = N4,200

Over three years that is N1,400 per year. I don't think this is too much money to spend on relaxing yourself. You don't want to get burnt out by restricting yourself to a set of activities.

See this link: Overloaded Circuits: Why Smart People Underperform - Harvard Business Review

You need to have it at the back of your mind that well rounded people generally are more successful in life than nerds that is why lots of students who end up with a second class upper and lower have better personalities than 95% of first classers.

Arsene Wenger's wife complains!!!

Arsene Wenger went to the supermarket with his shopping list to do the big weekly shop. He was amazed how much the prices had gone up. He refused to pay the over inflated prices they were asking, so came home with nothing.

When questioned by his wife he said, "I won’t pay the prices they are asking."

His wife said, "But Arsene, that's how much food costs!"

He said, "I don't care." His family starved.

Since una no wan use una UCL money buy players, then u have to pay it as fine and also allow another club that will spend the money in the next UCL to participate in UCL. :D. Did u see the small 19 year old boy that Wenger used against Liverpool who was given a Red card. How una go dey use 19 year old for that kin high profile match to play against the likes of Suarez and Carrol.

Maybe we should just rename the thread to Sports Matters? Before Olympics start now and we create an "Olympics matters" thread :D
