Today happens to be my first time in this forum. I was directed from Nairaland.

All I want to know is if you can help in listing the names of companies selling shares at the moment and their rates.

Oceanic - N16.50 (Starts 5 March) (Closes - 13 April).

UBA - N35 (starts 1 March) (Closes - 9 April)

I think both oceanic and uba are good one to buy , especially oceanic cos of their track record ,i also have this info for anyone that might be hesitating to buy cos of the delays that come receiving the certificates ; i called the hot line for the oceanic offer and they confirmed that the certificates would be posted to successful applicants on the 5th of july 2007 and was told that after applying for the shares , one may write to the registrar or visit them to ask that your certificate not be posted to your address ,that you would co0llect it physically from the registrar office , once you have done this ,then u may go to the registrar from the 5th of july and collect your certificates in person ,i think this is much faster than waiting for it to be posted to ur address as many people have confirmed that this takes up to a year or even more sometimes .

I hope this would be the last post on this issue,i only mentioned this matter cos of nazyyon who said he was referred to this forum from nairaland ,same applies to me also ,i would like us to concentrate of stock talk now ,thanks .
