You will not get plenty of Redstar if you order for heavy quantities. You have to take it a little bit at a time. The price is going down because there are very little offers with very very little demand. The share float of this company is also quite low.

@Michael... in answer to your question in Marketwatch, Redstar fit the bill quite well. They don't need electricity but they need diesel and petrol to run their courier services. The economy is expanding somewhat and people need to transfer documents safely from one place to the other. I know that Intercontinental, GTB and Zenith banks use Redstar to send important documents around. This company is poised to deliver some great returns because of lack of well organized competition. Even DHL cannot compete with them at the moment as Redstar is the only courier company that has a world class warehousing and up-to-date logistics service delivery.

KoD, you are absolutely correct. I bought 50,000 Monday, 50,000 yesterday and am hoping to take another 50,000 today, with a final sweep tomorrow.

The only risk with RSE is that I have almost single-handedly shifted the price down in the last two days due to the small share-base and low price. A single individual can manipulate the price by purchasing 50,000 at what ever price they stipulate, as long as there are sellers out there. I find that a little worrying.

That is the fun of it. Redstar is an abandoned stock in the market with a lot of potentials. Remember C&I Leasing, Presco and Japaul? I can categorically tell you that this stock will soon produce an alpha return. It kept going down when the other stocks were rising during the mini bull run...

Technically, it is oversold because it has hit the bottom of the Bollinger band. Using the technical chart in Nigerian Securities, the relative strength is lesser than that of the NSE Index and may continue like that until investor interest is rekindled, which is likely to happen anytime soon. The current price is lower than the 50 day moving average and still moving down. The 50 day moving average is also lower than the 200 day moving average with weak trading volumes in the market, which improved marginally today signaling a potential turnaround. The bulls are just around the corner for this stock but not likely to last long when they arrive. But the price is not going to be as cheap as it is ever again once they come knocking.

So, if you want to buy, buy now. The fundamentals are there and the technicals are screaming... whew, I am beginning to sound like a marketer.

KoD ... If we go to the unspeakable place referenced earlier in this thread I think there could be a beer with your name on it. I bought 50,000 units of RSE on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, each day at the bottom price. I did not place a mandate yesterday (I have a daughter in India ... so other things occupying my head). Today I also bought my last 50,000 at 5% below yesterday's price.

Then the little beauty went and closed 5% north.

I have never had such a stroke of luck in my life. I would love to call it insight and timing ... but I would rather be lucky than clever.

I truly hope this is the start of the mini-bull run you predicted, we will see what next week brings.
