Pls does any one in the house have any information of the legal requirements for holding an AGM as per the number of days notice to be given to shareholder and the medium through which it must be communicated? Cos it's 12days to end of the year and i have not seen anything in that regards with respect to da above company!

From reliable information thiis company is not going to have AGM this year,though result will be out anytime now. If you are positioning let it probable be for price appreciation when the result is eventually release. I believe the company has receive enough beaten for non release of its results. Expect some rally when result is release and it meet market expectations.

I do not know the source of this information. Going by situation on ground 1+ 1 is not equal to 2. There is no Audited result on ground yet for the AGM less than 2 weeks to the end of the year. . No closure date for register for the registrar. No publication of the AGM. Shine your eyes make u no follow one chance

I have looked at the result and my conclusion is that the company is swimming in debt apart from that it looks like a progressive company turn over increased and gross profit was up but their debt sank them. If they come out of their debt it will be a wonderful company. Let see what their quarterly results will look like. This is my Layman analysis . Please can the Gurus in the house give their analysis

You need to look beyond the figures.

Yes they are in debt. They converted some of the debt to equity. That should be the one related to a South African company. Added to that, they got a loan from Ibru (RIP). That is another battle on its own.

How do you think they will get out of the debt? Raising equity when the price is at the parking lot?

Waiting for clarity on the exceptional item.

My Oga thanks a lot for ur on the spot analysis. I appreciate. If I should suggest they should do away with their holding at TCN . This happen to be the sore spot on their finances. They should concentrate on sheraton Abuja and Lagos they appear to be viable. If the Audited account is to be relized upon their term loan is almost paid. Will still wait for the Audited account report.

I think I will go with U on this case. I remain mute on this result until I see the Annual general meeting report.

Something unusual seemed to have happened during the year, some book cleaning methinks. It might be best to stay away from this for a while, no likely rebound in price is imminent in this one but might be an opportunity to enter in the long run but more information is required.
Seems Oga Wanaj knows some more about these guys, do you reckon this is one for a long termer?

My Oga I can not agree less to what you said. I think I should wait for their 1st and 2nd quar ter result result which I reliable gathered will be coming out soon. With the book cleaning they are most likely going to be appropriately priced though it may take a while.

GOODWILL should even bloat a blance sheet as it is d premium over d book value used in aquiring an asset..


So my fellow investor where did this 4b armotization comes frm.. If part of thier enormous debt is been repaid i ll b glad but sadly i went tru thier liabilities and cant relate the 4b to the amount of debt repaid!!

I have suffered now from 2 companies and CORPERATE GOVERNACE is what they lack most so henceforth CORPRATE GOVERNANCE will be my priority factor..

Anyway this week could be a week i ll make u all proud as its d most important week of my investing life...
