I just got a hand about this company result just 3 days ago. What an impressive result and reward for shareholders. I didnt believe it at first, a dividend yeild of almost 10%. And about a week earlier, the price was just like N1.30. I had to be sure so i checked proshare and found it there. I orederd for some sharp sharp. What a penny stock!

Question is what happens after when the price is corrected?
If the price should get back to the current price of N2.00,i suggest off loading it for short and mediummarket players.

Hmmn... Well, dont let the fact that they are giving out 20k of the 23k they made in the entire year out as dividend distract you from the reality that

1. Foreign partners have walked out (why they did, i have no idea). We alk know how the huge input foreign partners bring into Nigerian companies. Use CCNN as a case study. Foreign partner walked out, profits nose dived significantly despite other cement companies recording advancing profits within the same period.

2. Maybe due to number 1. above, almost all the parameters uses to gauge profitability of companies declined in 2012 as compared to 2011. Turnover, PAT and what have you. EPS dropped from 29k to 23k.

3. Personally, when a company doles out almost all its earnings without retaining a sizable amount, i feel a chill run diwn my spine!

I do sincerely hope that the company fares much better under local management but till this is proven, i suggest one treads with caution...
