Question about Private Placements

I've always wondered about this. What criteria do companies use to select who to offer a private placement to? How can I be a beneficiary of a private placement?

Hi Tayo,

I'm completely new to the Nigerian capital market so I could be totally wrong about this.

However, I'd suggest you start by speaking to a broker at BGL Ltd (www.bglltd.com) who are often joint issuing house for private placements and public offers. I know they're handling the Tinapa Business Resort private placement at the moment as shown on the Achievements link on their website.

Other issuing houses should be able to give you the information you're after. If you do come across other means of getting the information, please share...
