Tell your ladies to up their customer service if they want to retain market share. Free importation and exportation of goods and services is good for the global economy. This will make each economy to determine where its strength lies and play up to it.

I think a situation whereby unskilled workers find it difficult to get jobs because there jobs had been taken by foreigners is not too good.

Hmm... anybody that decides that he wants to be an unskilled worker will only have himself to blame. Nigerians are smart and know how to adapt to new realities everyday. That is the reason there is a rush for foreign degrees as our educational system fall apart. Go and ask the unskilled workers in the US and UK, things are getting pretty hard for them too. If jobs are not shipped to China, computers are taking over the jobs. If you decide to remain unskilled, that is your own cup of tea. All these stories about lack of opportunities are just... well, stories. You deal with many artisans everyday and ou can testify to it that 95% of Nigerian artisans are just there to fleece you, if you don't monitor them tightly. That is not a good way to make it in life.

Many workers remain unskilled because instead of getting skills, they'd rather spend their time watching Chelsea or chasing women. If you cannot read or write, there is something called adult education. Go get it!

Opportunities don't look for people. People get prepared and arm themselves enough to be able to see an opportunity when it comes. If we decide to hold back our development because of "unskilled workers" then we will all have ourselves to blame.

You will discover that these set of people make the most noise in shouting corruption at the government. They hide under the guise that they are smart. Somebody in my house told me that they have stopped recharging their PHCN pre-paid meters for more than a year now because when it was installed, they called in somebody that adjusted it and yet this same guy is the first to shout corruption at the government.
