Ashaka Cement to split 1 for 6

Reports reaching me today show that Ashaka Cement has released its result for the year ended December 2006

What do we think this will do to its price?

I think it will peak around 90-91 naira by mid next week. If you want to see what the next year gives, hang on. Personally I think Dangote is seizing our economy and this is the best we can see from Ashaka in a long time!

in my opinion, the present trading price for ashaka cement put in the category of defensive stock, people that are expecting good capital apprciation are not advised to buy company that is priced that high (i might be wrong though)

if they can declare 1 for 1, to bring the price to something around 40-45naira, then may, as in may be, i will consider buying.
