Default Glitch with CSCS system?

I purchased shares in 2 companies last week and when I checked my CSCS acount online on Friday, everything was in order . i.e all units were up to date

I checked again this morning and discovered that the shares (for only those 2 companies) that had been credited to my account on Friday had been reversed i.e. the units were no more reflected on my account.

I fired off an email to my stockbrokers who said that all their other clients had experienced the same thing ...but only with their NASCON shares. They are querying CSCS and advised I do the same

Has anyone else had experienced this ? I assume there must have been a glitch with the CSCS system over the weekend. Or am I missing something?

Follow up with your broker and have them issue you a statement of your holdings. This is the first I am hearing of any such glitch.

see, alot of mess up happen in nigerian system.
am sure it is a temporary thing, ordinarily it is the duty of your broker to sort it out, but if you wait for them to do that, you will wait all year and still be on the same spot.

If you are in Nigeria, simp[ly go in person to CSCS office to make enquiry, they can also make aprint of your holdings for you at the rate of N50-100 a page, so dont waste time.
I dont have access to my cscs online, but i will visit my broker tomorow and will ask her to print my online cscs account.

The NASCON shares also contribute to system mixed up that made NSE suspend some broking firm, a friend of mine was affected too.
Well, i hope to have kore info for you if i come back from my broker tomorow.

i experince similar thing with my CFAO shares, till date cscs list my complete cscs unit on the monthly report

the regisrar to CFAO (first regisrar) did not have complete record of my holding such that when they are paying shareholders of cfao their dividend my own was not complete, i enquire at the regisrar office, after about 5month
they told me that the seller to my account do not have adequate unit to sell.

i asked that how is that possible,, they said it happens!!!!!!!!!
what do we do? they said i should be patient, that they will sort it out.
i went to the office recently they told me that they are able to recover some unit, which is still fraction of what i actualy bought.

They now finaly said that they dont know what to do to the remaining units, that they have tried their possible best, but cant go further!!!!!!!!!!!
that is nigeria and its system.

Thanks olusolakemmy and Owen 1968. Checked again today and the units are still not showing. Unfortunately, I'm not in Nigeria so I can't go to the CSCS office. I'll keep pressurising my Stockbrokers until it is resolved though.

Dotunk, in response to your query:

Try sending an email to webmaster@cscsnigeria.com..you just may get lucky! Reason is when I registered for online access, I got the following message from that email address

Quote:
Sir/Madam,

Please be informed that you made payment for CSCS Online but you
have not registered on-line.

Kindly visit www.cscsnigeria.com and register your account within 24hrs
for activation.

Thanks for your interest in CSCS
