basicaly the advantage is to the companies, they wil have access to more fund and will be able to produce better.

then to investors, is still the normal advantage investment have, it is nothing special, the company stand to benefit more i guess, the only thing is that the company will be penny stocks at the time of listing.
i hope this group will be monitored, so that we dont invest in dormant companies, that just have their company names listed while they are not in active production.

If I may ask, why are companies like Onwuka Hi Tech still on NSE list anyway? If that is happening with our 1st Tier market, talk less of "Division 3"

Oseitutu,
Good observation about companies like Onwuka Hi Tech but mind you because companies like Onwuka in 1st Tier are not doing well does not mean the ones coming under 3rd tier will not do well.I am forseeing a situation where the ones comig under the 3rd tier will want to package their Co. in such a way that it will be attractive to investors and if they have good products that are in demand and marketable, well the sky is their limit.

Am yet to study NSE's criteria for delisting companies, cause some companies like onwuka high tech and a few more dont deserve a place in our market.

For the third tier market, there is hope, only they have to be honest with investors, transparency is the name of the game here.
