hello house,
i read this tread often & i always get to read about UD & their unreadiness to list.this seems to get a lot of investors all worked up.i quiet understand.i bought some of their shares too & i have gotten my cert.
initially,i was really excited like others.i got all the number i could possibly get from the prospectus & made all the calls i could make to anyone who would talk to me.they spoke to me well,made promises,raised my hopes many times b4 i realised that i was just being messed up.
i gave up.stopped all the phone calls,started enjoying myself & waiting 4 when they would list.guys,that is just one of the inherent risks in going 4 PP.they would tell u anything just to get your cash-remember IGI?.
there is no investment w/o a risk & that is what we all are facing.so guys,there is little or nothing we can do.let's just put it behind us,pray & hope 4 listing asap.

that a p p is full of risk is not a reason a man cant have integrity i have see company who say the will noy list in the next four years people still buy them your word should be ur bond we should learn how to keep ur promises after all no body force u to give them (it is only a fraudster that never keep a promise because he has no shame) he must say any thing to part u and ur money

all this people whinning and cursing these PP companys. you guys should take it easy, when u buy a share ur an investor. buying shares is not selling pepper. The problem is people that buy these PPs are greedy and all they think about is themselves.let me buy and get allocation and sell immediately and be a millionare the next year. Thats not a good concept of investment. these companies thatddo PP are not in the business of selling PPs or they are not just sitting down and waiting to list. The problem is u were ill informed about investments when u bought. These companies have so many head aches to worry about. they are actually businesses that have to operate in their market and make money they have so many things they are thinking about and strategyzing about.
and If u r truly desperate to and want to liquidate ur shares , U can do that . U dont have to wait for them to list. people are ready to buy. depending on a negotiated price. The problem is u want them to list so the price will increase 1 million times even if they are not doing well and so u can sell and build house. na so this world be. You have to relax and be an investor. stop borrowing money u cant afford to buy PPs. if u want short term then do some research and buy from the secondary market. for those angry with IGI. I have said it repeated there are people willing to buy ur shares.

I am sure most people on this forum understands the fundamentals of investing…you would be surprised the make up of the forum…Having said that…the NSE and the Nigerian investors are classic examples of capitalism at is purest...which is okay as I am yet to find any individual or entity anywhere in the world that invested in any security for any reason other than to ultimately increase their net worth…I think the freedom to air out frustration about PP, IPO and other irregularities within publicly traded companies on this site is a very powerful tool that should eventually ensure that everyone plays by the rule and improve the institution on the long run.

You are very correct. One of the principle of an investor is PATIENCE.
YES we were LIED TO/MISS INFORMED about thier listing date but whinning and cursing will not change anything because two wrongs can never make a right.
So PATIENCE will have to play a big role here. we have been patient for like 8 months now, why are we now tired when we are weeks away from our destination --------> THE NSE.
