hi,

low priced stocks!

well i would say the defination of that has changed for now. About 6 months to a year ago, low priced stocks otherwise calledpenny stocks were priced at < N1 to N5. But now, anything up to N10 is still penny stock.

Imagine something like mutual ben .60k, Eterna Oil N3, Cutix N2 etc. But all these stocks are close or above N5. I would say you could still invest in them but the liklihood of getting short term capital appreciation as witnessed is slim... may be in the next 2years.

your best bet for 3 stocks for long term ivestment since you say you are not greedy are

1. First bank Plc
2. Dangote sugar Ref Plc
3. GTBank plc

Actually the 3rd could be anything GTB, oceanic, Intercont, Zenith, Ashaka, BCC, UACN, UBA, Brewries if you are not religiuos etc.
