Bagco is currently trading higher than the proposed price by flourmills, how come people are buying at price higher than N2.75 . And I placed a sell order today at 2.74 thinking it can not go past N2.75.

Could the reason be to get the proposed flourmills share which is trading at a higher price?

If you do ur maths well, you will knnow that the price is still not yet fair when compared to the price for Flour Mills plc..

Yes Flour mills said they will pay a cash of N2.75 to holders of Bagco! Flour mills have said that they will give 1 flour mill for every 25 bagco shares..

if flour mills is closing today at 89.9.....it means the fair value for Bagco should be 3.59 ( all things being equal)

so for as long as the price of Flour mills keep going up, this one will also have to keep going up! but be careful while pursueing this one as that Flour mills price fit be the effects of market makers!

Thanks, I didn't think that far, Anyway I hope they don't sell, I am on about 37% gain on Bagco, 50% wudn't be bad.
