I also participated in that offer.Don't expect any info now until ending February i.e. next month to beginning March .The offer was just concluded last month.And according to the prospectus it will seek SEC approval on the 1st of February,before it publishes allotment of shares,dispatch share certificate on the 22nd.I just advise dont expect anything nw until March 2008.The link below is of an analysis of Bagco's stock by Vetiva incase u haven't seen it.

I haven't heard anything yet.I don't expect any update until maybe beginning of March.in the prospectus it says it will publish allotment on the 13th of this month and dispatch share certificates on the 22nd of this month.and finally get listed on the 3rd of March i.e. next month.So i don't think we will hear from them anytime soon

Public announcement of allotment was supposed to be on the 13th i.e. yesterday.still yet to hear anything from them.i wonder whats going on. i thought coys will be more serious after SEC's warning.any way its just one day delay.maybe tomorrow's papers will cover sth

Word on the street is that SEC is raising eyebrows on the allotment of BAGCo's public offer of shares. Hence the delay in announcing the allotment.
Any independent confirmation on this?

Is anyone in the house aware of whats delaying BagCo's release of allotment. I think i believe what Tobenna is saying. I'm afarid it'll be another Dangote flour but the earlier they hit us, the better so we can redirect. God save me from the string of public offers last year they will never see me again!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Tobenna, do you or anyone in the house have information on mode of allotment of BAGco IPO subscription. Most of us are still very jittery and not yet recovered from the Dangote, NAHCO, First Bank and Access Bank ballistic missiles.

Don't think it has been made public yet.
Frankly, the jist was the allotment was going to be very selective, so I had to find a way to get an assured allotment. Still, I'm not sure I'd get mine.

Thanks Tobenna. But there has been news recently that SEC will no longer approve preferential allotment. Not sure if Bagco will get approval for selective allotment. Let watch though

I am soaked in laughter as I read this tread. It would pass for a comedy, believe me. I can imagine the tension on the our bagco super sack investors. to be honest I feel for you. I know exactly what it feels like. I have been terriblly stabbed this past year with po's. For me po is history. God save me with aiico and then that would be all.

Be careful o...don't play ruff play here o. My heart skipped a beat (or was it 2) when i read 1000 units max. That was not even my on;y concern. If a 3.90 can give max 1000units then a 2.2 (aiico) will give 500units max. GOD punish satan.

ANd to think I was smart in no longer buyin in 10,000; 100,000 units but in 9,000; 90,000 units so I don't get cut off. I'm in deep sh*t

The allotment for Bagco is finally out and you must have thought that Dangote flour was the worst but wait till you see this. It's woefull.
I thank God that i didn't buy this offer cos it would have been just a waste of time.
you can find it on today's edition of the guardian newspaper. Only pple that apllied for 1000 units got 100% allotment. Can you imagine
