The EPS of this company at the end of FYE june 09 was 0.30k and a dividend of 0.22k was declared, and at the FYE june 10 the EPS of 0.31k out of which the directors are proposing a dividend of 0.10k. The investors are not ok with this hence a bearish stock. I would have taken this as opportunity to buy this stock but my fear is that this coy has not posted their 1st qtr reports which I guess may not be too good cos if it is good they ought to release it together with their audited accounts to give investors confidence about the coy and the reduction in dividend. I am confused:

Fidson Healthcare Plc: Change in Financial Year end

June 2, 2011

The Company has notified The Exchange that its financial year end has been changed by a resolution of the Board, from 1st July- 30th June in every calendar year to 1st January – 31st December in every calendar year. The alteration takes immediate effect.

The Company further stated that, the alteration is in line with the strategic steps it is taking to align the Company’s operations and reporting period with that of its major business partners and in preparation for the implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS).
