They didnt list because they didnt like the reaction from investors. a meeting was quickly convened because of comments bothe here and Newnigerian . They are trying to see if they can up the listing price . it was meant to be listed today

This is a very good example of why people should not invest in shares based on sentiments. If you read back a while ago when you people were chasing the shares of this company all over the place, there was one forum writer who suggested you all take a long look at this comapny's financials. The fundermentals showed a poor showing for a couple of years and in the immediate year before the PP we saw a good result. Shouldn't that have sensed these guys as a bit dodgy? Even if you people are looking for a listing to make a kill you better forget about it. Gone are those days. Have you not seen what has happened to Starcomm. From 13naira to 8Naira now. Or Omartek? No be same Industry? Those twho jumped ion the bandwagon are biting there fingers. Be careful. Caveat Emptor!!! If I were you I would be praying for my money to be returned. After all this time you have not received certificates or allotment but because you are blinded by sentiment you ignore this. If it was Union Bank or First Bank, we would have been on page 48 of this thread by now.

I beg to differ. You can't compare OMATEK with CHAMS. They are in different line of business. Moreso, CHAMS PE was lower compared to OMATEK. Additionally, most folks knew Starcomm was a joke. It was well analyzed.

I see no Reason why they should not be allowed to list above the PP price. Since they came up with thier rule of listing at PP price, they have Never implemented it. Companies that got the Nod to list after Chams was cleared for listing have already listed above the PP Price.
