The investing public and Nigerian as a whole should try and give our indigenous companies a chance to prove their self. I think daar comm should be able to perform well and give a good result at the end of each financial year end, just as other companies did.

Daar Communication offered 2.789B Ordinary shares at N5 per share in her IPO and was accordingly valued. An IPO that was not that over subscribed is listing 8 Billion shares instead of the combined offer of 2.789 B shares.

I would like to know the following:
-The impact the 8 Billion shares would have on the previous valuation. Does everything remain the same?
-Would the share remain valued at N5 per share in the face of this over bloated listing?
-Did Daar communication not short changed investor by encouraging them to invest in 2.789B ordinary shares only for her to list 8 Billion shares? Considering the fact that the assets and liability of the company still remain the same?

Over to GURUS in the house, I would like to hear your opinion and answers to the above PUZZLES (questions).

Valuation of the company remains unchanged. Whether the price will remain at N5 will be determined by market forces.

The balance of 8B-2.79B is held by Dokpesi and co. You were not cheated if you bought the offer. What happened was that Dokpesi sold part of his own holdings and raised new capital during the IPO. The total amount raised during the IPO was 2.79B * N5 even though the company is now worth 8B * N5. Just imagine if you had a company and sold part of it to the public. When the company is listed, the entire shares are listed, not only the shares you sold to the public.

I hope I was clear enough.

I Have received my certificate and have taken it to my Broker for verification but it has not been credited into my CSCS Account. Even if they did e-allotment, I Believe it was done for the selected few because I included my CSCS Number in the Application form but received a Hardcopy certificate.

The reason you may not have recieved your own yet could be NIPOST and thier slow delivery system.

Yet to receive any certificate despite all the six weeks noise made by Dokpesi.

Going beyond stocks now, we are not yet ready for a new Nigeria. The wicked and deceitful need to be wiped out of our nation before meaningful progress can be made.

If you bought the offer for sale or the offer for subcription, the certificate will come in only one name i.e DAAR COMMUNICATION PLC.
