The best way to make money is to buy unpopular stock with potentials. ABC reminds me of greyhound in the USA. It is probably the best organised transportation company with a growing package delivery and hotel subsidiary. ABC's long term prospect looks great.

I once placed order for arbico when it was around N1, was not available, all i know is that number of trade per day is not more that 1, the volume traded daily is not more 15000, so how do u want to get????????
may be now that it is around N9 you can get.

ABC Transport Won the award of the Best Transport company in Nigeria,December 2007.It also won an award for Quality services among Transporters in west africa,not only that,it is the only Transport company Listed in the Transportation sector,of the official Listing of the N.S.E.so it still enjoys monopoly. Besides,this Year's Budget,highly favors the Transportation sector,that means this company is going to immensely benefit from that.By and Large,I believe it is a Good buy now, for Short and Medium term Purposes.Senior members,what do you think?

Still on the abc transport shares,I've not received any dividend since i got the certificate dec 2006.what am I to do? please advice.

Got info from the sister site that ABC will declare a 1 for 2 bonus this financial year in preparation for their impending PO. I don't really know how accurate this info is but i have positioned myself in the front seat of the newest ABC bus just in case it is true. But i have left the window close to me wide open just incase the info is false even if i jump out and sustain injuries.
Note that the PE for ABC currently stands at 89

Apache either true or not, that bonus must just come to past, becos of this your information, i must hold vigil for the stock tonight for that information to come thru, y? my broker mistakely bought me 50k unit two weeks ago and i have been mistakely enjoying the rise in price, so if i mistakely get the 1 for 2, i think i deserve it mistakely.

I have a forward PE of 59 (projected PAT of N0.19billion and shares outstanding of 1.51 billion). What numbers do you have?

Got it from the FSDH site. think they are using current PE but Forward PE should be a better measure. so i'll stick with you.

The PE ratio gives an indication of how expensive/ cheap a stock is. It literally tells you how many years it will take for you to recover your investments. It is calcualted by dividing the current share price by the EPS.
The implication of what Hispy is saying is that if my gamble doesn't pay off, i would have bought ABC at a veeeeeeery expensive price.

I don place my sell order sharp sharp. I no dey like long tori. whether na flat tire, stopover or na one chance, me no one know.
