All those that have read Rich Dad, Poor Dad would know about the game. It's a gameboard that's similar but more complex than Monopoly game.

Cashflow101 is a very interesting and fun way to learn Personal Financial Planning. It has an advanced version Cashflow201.

In the game, You will learn how to manage your incomes, assets, expenses, liabilities - how to use your salary and savings to invest in stocks, real estate, build businesses of your own to increase your passive income till when you are FINANCIALLY FREE. You will be thinking like a Billionaire!

I suggest forum members that reside near each other take the time to gather and play the game, whenever time permits. It's really a nice way to hang out and learn at the same time.
Someone once said that if you want to hide treasures from the reach of a black man bury them in books. To some extent it could be true cos if we run a stat. on the number of pple (even forum members) that are given to reading of books you would understand what i mean.

Sahaka suggested the game cash flow 101 to be played by members that are close to each other, i have not played the game myself, but i have read Rich Dad Poor Dad, in it Robert Kiyosaki talked about the Game and i believe it would be an interesting game to play. May be when some members start interacting physically the real benefits of networking would be tapped and an army of financially educated individuals would be built, and other none forum members could also benefit.

Default Classic Finance books

This website is a goldmine of financial information."Richest man in Babylon " and "Think and Grow rich " are very very useful old books when it comes to tutoring people about money management and how to accumulate wealth.Robert Kiyosaki's classic finance books...rich dad poor dad, cashflow quadrant, rich dad's guide to investing, you can choose to be rich, why we want you to be rich are great exceptional finance teaching tools for those serious minded interested in learning how money works by letting money work for you and never work for money. You'll never want to leave kiyosaki's books,he's a great writer that communicates his mind well.
The millionaire next door is also very good.I've it in pdf for those interested.
I still want to read "Think like a billionaire, become a billionaire".These are all very great books that are priceless with the wealth of information they convey.

One book that I will highly recommend for college grads or a wonderful gift to newly weds or grads is Automatic Millionaire by David Bach.

Though very basic, but it has simple enough for non financial minds to follow and implement. I ended buying some for my cousins and sister.

I also like Peter Lynch series: One Up On Wall Street and Beating The Street are simple and interesting readings as well by the famed fund manager for of Fidelity Magellan Fund.

Going through the list of books mentioned so far, I am surprised no one has mentioned 'The Intelligent Investor' by Benjamin Graham.
Warren Buffet calls it "By far the best book on investing ever written."

Default The book which changed me

Although I have read all of robert k's books and they are really good.

On a personal note the book which really had the most influence on me was ''The richest man in babylon''. What baffled me most was that the book is small and compact but contains a lot of simple basic advice which people tend to overlook, but if followed can have a lot of impact on peoples live in terms of creating, managing wealth and prosperity.

I have also found out in my years of travel that airport bookshops tend to have an amazing array of good financial books. You tend to find them on the shelves lost and forgotten.

regards

mohammed
