You need to call your broker and get the reason for the delay. It could be irregular signature or inconsistence address etc. My experience is the Zenith Registrars are relatively quick in verifying old certificates so I do not think that this is part of the sham of delay verification strategy being used by some companies these days.
You can also call Zenith registrar (I do not have their number now but visit zenith website to get the information) and ask them about the verification of your certificate, they could tell you the reason, be courteous to them.
Good luck.

Hello Murphy,

When there is an irregular signature ,what can someone do about it?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Oluwaseun247,
If there is an irregular signature, your broker can resubmit the certificate with the correct signature and with a copy of your PO (IPO) form which shows your signature. This should be okay. In some cases the investor can visit the registrar's office with the broker to clear any issues of irregularities raised.

When I have had problems with my certificates due to incorrect signatures in the past, I go to my bank and get a letter from them confirming the signature belongs to me and forward same to my broker. The bank charges N1,000.
