That will be the trailing PE. Now they have done a PO which will likely be over-subscribed and we need to factor in the new shares. The Q-3 PAT was 317M so the PE is not anywhere near 19 with 2.72B shares expected to be outstanding after the PO.

I see. you factored in the new shares ( not listed yet)from the PO but 19.82 is their current PE pending the listing of the new shares from last PO. Have they announced the allotment? Will the new shares have share in their 2007 end of year dividend payout?

No the new shares will not benefit from dividend payouts or any bonus shares. It's on their website.

I think the best is to trade with your money. Assuming I used borrowed money in buying Transcorp, think of what will be going on in my mind now that stock remains a year old baby that refused to sit down not to talk of crawling. Transcorp IPo was sold at 7.50k, today how much is it in the market.

Please, for the benefit of beginners like me, don't invest with borrowed money because he who goes "aborrowing goes asorrowing" Shine your eyes. Slow and steady wins the race.

The gurus please provide us with information on when to expect the allotment result, so we know where we stand and when to expect the share certificates.

Japaul oil at 12 naira! The PE is still 35. I hope it is not strange? It is the Lord's doing.

Don't be surprise if it hits N15. Heards effect, improved market liquidity and expectation of good 3rd quarter result all contribute.

More juicy surprises.

what was the PE of NAHCO when it hit N70. If you know this market, you will know that bonus issues drive the prices of equities through the roof. You better instruct your broker to get some for you if they can get it while the news has not hit the market

May be you did not catch the joke ctride. Hispy99 doubted how a stock of PE of 35 will hit 12 then that was why I reminded him.

Thanks guys we are getting richer!!!

Oga Hispy, are you not in the market to make money? Why do you want to leave it to others? A good friend advised me to enter a couple of weeks ago when it was under N8. I am happy I did. I dont thinkit is too late to come on board.

Default japaul

Does any one by any chance know the details of the results of the public offer, i just pray it doesn't go the way of Dangote flour & co. It looks like it make more sense investing on the floor than in IPO's
