Halleluyah! finally the certificates are out. My brother have it verified 1st and take position for the release of their result which can be anytime. On that P.O Issue..we have investigated and discussed it extensively on this forum. Na sidon look we dey now.

This explains why the share price has been dwindling. Guys may be getting their certs and silently verifying and taking profit. at the current price there is 300% margin above the P.O price.
Remember there are also legitimate profit takers who entered below 2naira before the rally to 6naira+ TS price of last year. I doubt if all dem folks have sold.

If only i can intercept my certificate now....lol..i will verify, offload, and quickly run into Diamond Bank. 300% profit...japaul don try now.

got my japaul cert today. The allotment was a real disaster to say the least, applied for 200k units and got only 15,000units which translates to 7.5%. I think we've not seen the last of such allotments especially with every dick,tom and harry wanting to go public.
SEC has to come up with better guidelines for these companies and we the shareholders and investors come together and form formidable associations to voice our reservations and concerns. its hightime we understood our rights and privileges as investors.

Haba, Chidi, how can anybody verify a certificate when the shares have not been listed. Abi have you heard it anywhere that the PO shares of Japaul have been listed? Oga Apache has been shouting himself hoarse on this matter that untill the end of year result of Japaul is out, dividends /bonus if any is declared, register closed, no listing of the PO shares can take place. The reason is simply because the Japaul offer documnt says clearly that those who bought the PO will not partake of the December 2007 end of year dividend /bonus. If anyone is selling Japaul shares now, he/she should have acquired it from the floor.

my broker told me my certificate cannot be verified yet... that I have to wait for awhile. has anyone verified his yet?

Your perfectly correct. Crosschecked with my broker this morning.
Just assumed that for the certificats to be hitting the posts then it possibly might have been listed. (havent followed up on info of late).
How sad. it means its for later not now.

you still have to be patient. your certificate will get to you soon. like the MD said they are on the neck of the registrars to release the certificates. they are releasing the certificates in batches to manage the share price so that it doesnt crash. as you & i know, the market is bearish now . so be patient you will get yours. cheers.

I need someone to tell me what is happening about Japaul return money. I subscribed through my brokers and till date, apart from my allotment of 13250 Units out of the 170,000Units subscribed to, I am yet to sign get any document from them in respect of the PP or PO they promised and my money is still with them.

Please somebody help with any update or confirmation of any return money received. It is unfair for Japaul MD to talk about returning only 10% of the money when we do not know what will be the faith of our money, what percentage they will return and when it would be returned.

well since the return money is not with your broker, then you will have to check your p.o box if you have one or wait until the postman delivers it to your house. as for the certificate, it has been dispathed. so expect yours or better still you can go to the post office and tell one of the staff you are expecting these documents so that you can receive them on time when they find them. cheers

I did receive a certificate for 13250 units out of the 170,000 units I applied for. Do you know of anybody that has received his returned money from Japaul? I really do need answer to this question. Pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People help me with answer o000000000000hhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I received 22500 units out of 500000 units but no info on the remaining money. This is a strange public offer compared to that of other companies that prefer to return money first then delay certificates.
