Why buy after TS? why not now? The price will most likely be higher after the TS is lifted. If you're looking long term, then simply buy the PO and take advantage of the huge discount.

Japaul is going to more than double it's outstanding shares with this rights/PO. If they are oversubscribed, it going to triple. With that in mind, the company has to triple PAT just to get abck to where is sits today (PE in the mid-20s)

Buy the PO and stay away from the secondary market until the price starts to adjust. If you buy from the secondary market, you'll be stuck with a stock waiting for the fundamentals to catch up with the price instead of the other way around.

Buy the PO or wait a year.

Wendy, na here you dey? Show up at our usual "joint" once in a while!

Default Is Japaul PO out?

Please, I have been getting conflicting info.

Please, Is the Japaul Public offer out on sale already? I thought it was shelved till september, but I keep hearing people talk about having bought the PO.

Default On Japaul

Japaul shares are worthy of some consideration you may agree. But about whether you will be able to sell in 8 months, it is quite tentative. Usually, it is widely considered/speculated that the certificates (for IPO's) are ready in about 6 months. This is quite a long time to wait the registrars/regulatory bodies should do something but it. But once you get your Certificate (maybe in 6 months or less), you should be able to convert it to CSCS and trade off. But if you ask me,i have not recieved and certificate in up to a year or more than 8 months.

All the best in you final decision.

Japaul is not out yet, its just the completion board meeting that is offer and we already know what price its coming out. its a cool one for those that have rights. but if one as some money, one could but at market price now so that when the offer is over and the price is released, it is bound to go in only one direction....UP.

the offer is most likely to be oversubscribed.

Default Japaul Oil

Q2 RESULTS PAT of 0.184bil AGAINST .053bil last years Q2 a 247.17% Improvement will fool any one. However closer look
at projection for FYE of X2 of Q2 results=0.368bil which against the share base of approx 1.16bil shares gives an EPS of 368/1160 = 0.33 . Based on this, the price of the share is worth approx 0.33 X 20 = 6.6 assuming no bonus speculations! current price is about 6.00. your value should be at about 10% appreciable benefit/interest for this year 2007. If they are able to keep up with at least a 150% increase in PAT each Qtr then expect an EPS next year of 0.5 and possibly a price above 10.00 .
IT LOOKS GOOD FOR LONG TERM BUY AGAINST PROFIT TAKING NEXT YEAR!!!

Default PO or Sec Market

Between Japaul PO @ N3.95 and Secondary market purchase @ N6.02, which is more promising, for both short and long terms?

Default Japaul Oil

Hey, I thought the stock is going to be a good buy either way from IPO or market.Buy from IPO is the chances of the stock dubbling price wise and could get to ten naira but you need to wait for cert, while getting from floor too is not a bad idea if you could get it to buy....stand the chance of disposing once the suspension is removed and stock pick up normally.....I guess either way is a win win.

Rethink:

This stock reched 7.50 and above before it was pegged. That tells you the prospect and they have some good fundamental and prospect in the marine biz down there.
