japauloil was placed on tech suspension in early AUG 07, how come you are talking abt their price in Sept 07, the last time i checked the price was at N6.02, it has remain that way since aug, it will be like that until after the conclusion of the offer and tech lifted.
May be you are talking abt pre tech susp price movement,in that case people sited monopoly and profit after tax, prospect, EPS and viz other factors to rush for the stock, i dont think the price movement was entirely caused by the management of the organisation, although am not saying that it is impossible, THIS IS NIGERIA, LAND OF ALL POSSIBILITIES

I bought Japaul oil at this TS based on the advice of my stockbroker but I'm still new to stock business. When a friend now told me the implications of buying it now and how I have to wait till the PO is over and other things involved b/4 I could hope for any appreciation,I became discouraged.Actually,I bought that stock for short term b/c I'll like to dispose of it after some months but when I heard this guy I felt that my aim is defeated. Now I'm confused as to what next to do,Should I leave that stock or dispose of it?

Sorry Buddy.. u bought it already

But c'mon.. dont feel bad. It all depends on what your Objectives are.
Since you want to Offload soon it may be ur best option.
But looking at Japaul, I wont 'bart out' in a hurry on this one if i were you, it will do well...6months - 1yr. They have alot going for them. If buy the P.O, u wont regret it.
i intend slowing down on a project i have to enable me invest heavily on this one..thats how much i believe in it.

Thumbs up Japaul Out 24 September

Japaul's N5b hybrid offer will hit the market on 24th September 2007 and will last till 31st October, 2007 Leadership Newspaper has reported. Already, FIB has underwritten up to N2.4b of the shares. Futureview is also underwriting another N1.6b worth of the shares. The MD of the company has however promised to accommodate additional N3b if the shares are over subscribed.

Default japual is into good business.

japual is a very good company with increased earning report, consistent submission to the exchange. japual result grew by 140 percent, having a eps of 24kobo, for a stock selling at #6. in my oppinion, all things been equal, japaul will soar in months, years to come.

I will advise you go ahead and request for 500,000 units. Who knows. you may be lucky to be given.

Risk is the name of the game. If you were not given, your money will be refunded back to you. But the snag there is that it is not worth it if the source of the fund is a bank loan as you will have to pay interest on refunded money if you are not allocated all the units you requested for.

I will confirm more on it later and let you have more fact.
