For the rest appraisal and referral references for Japaul oil is your own beliefs and rhetoric on the stock.......That I cannot accept or deny until it actually happens???

You see Market Movements - Gains and Losses it what trully makes the world go round
True and wise words well spoken. But I will remind you that losses and gains that make the world go round are due to the actions of risk takers. Smart risk takers can only be defined with the benefits of hindsight. Examples of successful risk takers will make a very long list and I hope to become one of them, with time.

Infact, I do not canvass or even want anybody to buy Japaul sef, let it drop to nominal value and stay there for two years while I quietly mop up because I am willing to take short term losses up to the next five years with the belief that in 10 years or more, I will reap bountifully.

Oga KOD sees a downside that he can afford to sacrifice in favor of an upside that he cannot afford to miss...

...or he believes in the management of Japaul...and would rather buy a business, aka Buffet style.

Or he is as young/old as I am and has time as an ally that he can boldly take this on without looking back...(and please jump in with him if you have such patience(time) to defuse the risk inherent here; talk about the relationship between risk and time.)

Caveat:
If you are not comfortable with having at least 80% - 90%(of which 50% minimum, is in small cap, growth companies) of your portfolio in stocks, then this may not be for you. Secondly, this is just my 2 kobo OPINION.

Do you really think KOD's move would be long term? I've got a feeling that this stock won't touch 50k and that it'll probably close around N1 before this quarters over.

I did not say I was in a hurry to buy. I have a long term plan for this stock and just said I have started buying. I have no clue where the other bids came from, no idea... honestly...

No worry your head. The stock go dey available for a long time yet. Q1 results are not going to be out in the next few months or so. I just have a penchant of trying to play the market because I just believe that Japaul will still go up and then finally come back and rest at the car park. My game plan is just to buy low sell high, wait, then redeploy to buy low again and then watch and wait.

Ironically I intend to exit this stock at the next opportunity, I entered at 80k and would sell at a price above that. Unlike KOD I'm not buying, not because it's not cheap but because I believe there are better bargains out there.

i would say 5-10 years is a long time to wait, though your acquisition drive suggests a take-over bid. i think japaul should bounce back in a short time as long ast it continues to churn out good financials. my only advice is that you dump before dividend declaration, Mr Jegede A. Paul has a thing for dissapointing shareholders when its time to pay back.
