Sure it is possible to buy shares of company under technical suspension in the secondary market. One even stand the advantage of getting out at any as soon as the technical suspension is lifted, here you would not have to wait for the certificate to be released and subsequently verified before you can take action on you stocks.

Japaul share price is stationary because its on Technical Suspension. I guess it will be lifted in December. You can buy now even with it on TS but you will be at a premium.
If i were you i will wait for TS to be lifted before i take position..However, your broker has to be sharp to get it within the 1st 2 days of trading..there are alot of people like you waiting to buy so i expect the price to head North due to demand. If it happens that way that means for everyday ur broker is'nt able to buy, the next day will see it cost more.

i think japaul offer closed on 31 oct and the regulation is that TS should be lifted after 2 weeks.. this means it should have been lifted today.. guess we should look out for it in the next couple of trading days..

u can bid for japaul right now but its on net bid with 8million units.. however, someone using your stockbroker might have placed a sale order and ur broker can just do a cross trade to sell the person's shares to you.... il advice you place the bid now but give a max limit price in case you broker cant get it now before the TS is lifted.. and there is a possibility of the price shooting up just after the TS...

Please where can I get information on what is on bid and what is on offer (i.e how did you know that there is a net bid of 8 million units on offer? )

Thanks.

i expect the TS to be lifted by monday, the two wekks ended today friday 16/11/07, so by 19/11/07 we should expect maximum rise in price by 5%daily until it hit N18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the other guy, i usualy get summarised news on bid and offer through proshare news under investor daily perspective.
but the volume bidded and offered will not be there, but i guess you can get that on NSE live, its a paid service

Guys I expect japual to hit at least N12 in the next couple of days as the TS is lifted today. I ampredicting that they might release their 3rd quater result to boost share price movement

N12 in the next couple of days? For a stock with forward PE of 35? Strange things have opened and this may be one of them (Japual hitting N12 in the next couple of days)

@Hispy, I think Nezvest is right on his prediction. If you agree less with me, checkout C Kenneths' slogan by Bernard Baruch.

The release of their 3rd Q result will certainly have impact on the current price (but when are they releasing the result?).
I will be one of the happiest people if Japaul hits N12+ in a couple of weeks

12 naira is a bit too far fetched. Afterall we all saw the prospectus last month.
having said that, i think japaul is a good stock.

Japaul is doing very well indeed, but to predict prices would not be too good. The market can behave in an irrational manner. Sellers could just invade the floors tomorrow.
