The reason I asked is just to be on the safe side before making any comment. The events in the Arabian countries is not going to have any positive impact on Beco petroleum if they are just in the downstream sector. Yes the price of oil is going up and good for upstream players like Oando but downstream players buy products from NNPC and sell at controlled prices. The windfall stops in the upstream sector.

The PIB is another issue that we are still wondering how it will play out. The uncertainty in the downstream sector remains. Plus beco profits declined in Q3, a low PE due to reduced earnings is not a good buy for me. I like low PEs with rising earnings...
