EPS is an acronym for Earnings Per Share (i.e., total profit divided by the number of paid-up ordinary shares) while PE stands for Price/Earning ratio (i.e. share price divided by or in relation to EPS).

No i am not kidding you. Find me another stock with a forward PE of less than 16. I do not look at cheapness from the "nominal price"; I look at cheapness from a valuation standpoint.

You might want to read through the thread on UBA to see why we consider UBA cheap. The current price of UBA is a very good entry point and is highly undervalued. IBTC has analysed the real value for UBA to be about =N=75. So better buy now. I have gradually started accumulating mine. Oceanic is another good buy at its current price.
Costain won't be bad to pick up but this is based more on specualtion cos i believe it will want to play catch up with the other major players in its industry in terms of share price. I was able to get a good quantity at =N=30

How do you guys see C&I leasing? the PE may be a bit high now but the final reult is on the way and as usual we expect nothing less than excellent? I target N20 exit price. How do you guys see it?

I wouldn't say that. I think the fact that its in a sector of its own makes comparative a lil diff. But then say its listed alongside rtbriscoe then i'd agree to ur prediction of something close to N20

Newton, I get your idea but I am looking at C&I from adiff point of view. I bought this stock at 4+ last year and so far I have about 200% already in gain. It is a wonder staock. Perfomance per qter has been sweet in evry sense. Consistent earning growth is another. FY eps is expected in the range of 68K. They have only about 600,000,000 share outstanding so even 1:2 bonus wont mean much to the mgt if they want to. They have consistently paid half yearly dividend so a good stock for institutional investors. Recently in anticipation of the FY result and benefit, it haas been going on bid in the NSE. I am only wondering whether to increase my Holding there now. I am sure it is getting to N20 soon.

In a Lame man's Language(as i know it),EPS give u an idea of the strength/profitabilty of a company, while PE gives u a reflection of the number of years it will take u to recoup your investment once u invest in it,i.e how long to realise your capital back.
Cheers.
