I have been montoring Jubillee life since last year. I am however dissappointed that they plan to do the pp for 50k share and at N3.00. This is a company that just came back to profit for the first time.
I am not touching it! Whatever the pp prospectus might say.

Thank you for a point well made. This speaks to a careful examination of the numbers in the prospectus to be sure the numbers are not cooked up for the offer, given the fact that the SEC does not oversee the pps.

That's a bit hasty. A company can move from loss to profit-making and never stop again due to the experience gathered on the way out of the loss.

Let's try our hands on the prospectus, we just might find something objective. Kindly post it if you have it even if your dont buy it.

why not wait for the prospectus to know if the price is justified.
we have to consider the number of share outstanding among other things to conclude.

ur point on the price of N3 being too high may be right, but you need to consider the number of share issued a nd the number to be issued. they can decide to give existing shareholders bonus of 1 to 4 like charm did and issue 4b units and halve the price, in the end you will be having less EPS. Guiness does not make more profit than NB plc but its price is more than twice of NB b/c NBb ober 7B units IE insurance did pp at 0.75 and later reconstruct at a ratio of 3 to 1 why not do it at 225k if existing shareholders units are small. so let see the the prospectus, analise it and see the justification of the N3 b/4 condeming it.
