Check you link very well, you will see that Valueline was not blacklisted.

SEC suspended Valueline with 66 other stockbrokers for not complying with its directive on capital requirement. The suspension was only lifted after the management of Valueline complied with this directive. Some other forward looking stockbrokers were not suspended by SEC.

Did they have to wait for the sanction from SEC to act on a directive that had been given 2 years earlier?

For me,I am going to buy the Private placement,because i got an insider information saying that the private placement is the bum,so I would advise you my brother to get in quick..the problem now would be how do we offload quickly so that we can take advantage of the increase in price in the first 3 months it is listed on the floor of the NSE,as I hear that they will be dispatching share certificates only and not allocating to CSCS account....before the big boys make the profits and leave us behind.Contributions are needed

What do you expect the insider to tell you? He/She will and should tell you the offer is the bomb but then the onus is on you to shine your eyes.
There are quite a number of stockbroking firms one can invest in it's pp but incidents like failure to comply with the SEC regulations of share capital increase to a mere N70m tells me this company is not in the top rank.

My people I have not gotten the prospectus yet,but I went to their office yesterday and they informed me that i should come back on monday for it,so by his grace I shall be there to pick it up within nextweek once am chanced and I would paste it her for the house to analyse...
