How far can the lawsuit go especially since they gave the option to collect a refund? The lawsuit might compel them to pay interest but that will probably be it. Is it really worth it?

i thought the Personal trust was cheap at N1.20 for N1.00 share anyway i always advice people to learn how to keep money in the bank this time so that when opportunity comes in term of good offer, you can put it in.

In this bear mkt. very cheap PP may come your way insttead of using your money to buy Pp u are not convince of.

Taking a Critical look at the figures presented by the company in thier prospectus, you will notice that the PP is Expensive but I am buying it anyway. and on the issue of keeping money in the bank, I must confess that is not one of my Habits.

I had one loose cash in the bank one time and was very uncomfortable so when the PP of AFROMEDIA came calling, I took a shot at it even tough it was Expensive at the PP price, amid the Manipulation they did to thier figures.

Whenever a cheap PP comes calling, hopefully I may dive in if I am interested regardless of the unit I may buy but six months of the bear and most of the PP that we have seen are Overpriced. So I Just cant realy leave my cash in the bank waiting for what may not come.

Exactly, it is better to move on.
On a second taught, These guys will eventually list more than 8 billion ordinary shares after the proposed IPO and there is no Assurance that the Stock when listed will not fall even below the PP price.

So I dont realy see any reason why I should remain here.

I decided to go back today instead of Thursday. They now asked me to channel my request to Afribank Capital where i bought.

I went to Afribank Capital and they told me to send in an application. I have sent one a few minutes ago. Afribank Capital said they have not remitted the funds to Valueline as they also are not in full agreement with the change. They are currently discussing with Valuline on a way forward.

I expect a refund hopefully next week.

Zainab,

Please I need your advise.

I went there to ask for my certificate or letter they said that they can not find my name in their list that they want to ask AFRIBANK to send the certificate or letter since that was the place I submitted my form, so I was asked to check back in two weeks time.

Now that I do not the letter or certificate how do confirm and then let them know I want to collect my money if that is the way they want to do it?

I suggest u call ur contact at Afribank Capital since they have not remitted ur money to Valueline. U should have the copy of ur application form stamped received by Afribank. They want a copy should u need a refund.

I suggest u contact Afribank Capital as soon as possible to resolve.

I have already spoken with my contact at Afribank capital who claimed that is not aware of change in the nominal value from N1 to 50K.

He promise to help me confirm from thier registrar at Gbagada over the next weekend

Has anybody that rejected the ValueCapital Certificate got back his money yet? Also be sure to confirm the spelling of your name on the cheque they may give You? I have recievd complaints already of misspelt names and uncleared cheques.

I got a call from Afribank Capital asking me to check their office on Friday for my cheque. I will be surprised if Afribank Capital will give a dud cheque. My eyes will be open for any error in the name. Thanks.

I will keep the house posted.

I paid directly to Valueline, Not Afribank Capital, I am sure they are more responsible. It also appears they have not handed the proceeds of the offer to valueline for this very reason.
