I just called my broker (I have a deal with Dominion) and confirm the issue of PP from him and what he told me was that there was no any PP document in circulation. That the mgt called some of their friends together and pasuade them to invest in the company which was the current thing going on. I want to believe they are just doing PP in the proper form which is not too good for us that are not big player.

So, for now except if anybody can, there is no document to the PP.

Dominion Trust targets N3b share capital, meets SEC's requirements



As stockbroking firms jostle to meet the new N1 billion capital requirement deadline from N70 million, which expires on December 31, 2008, another stockbroking firm, Dominion Trust Limited has met and surpassed the requirement.



The company, according to its Managing Director, Mr. Tope Asaju is also increasing the paid-up capital to N3 billion before September to enable it meet the requirement of an issuing house, combined with its broker/dealer business.



The excess fund according to Asaju is being raised partly through a private placement which is on-going and will soon be concluded.



Asaju said:"Our shareholders' fund is well in excess of N1 billion, but we are targeting over N3 billion by the end of the year. That is our plan.



"By September, we are targeting N3 billion so that we can maintain our business as issuing house and broker/dealer.



"We have an on-going private placement and we are mindful of the number and the amount we can raise as a private company."



Dominion Trust Limited was incorporated in 1989 as a finance/investment company. In 1990, it became a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange and is presently registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an issuing house, broker/dealer, investment advisers and portfolio managers.



The company has successfully raised funds for many quoted companies in the market in its capacity as issuing house or stockbrokers to the issue.
