Thumbs up Stockswatch Magazine PP

I learnt from reliable source that Stockswatch magazine will be hitting the market with a PP soon, likely to be around April or May, to sell at about N5. Plans big on dividend payout, maynot be listed so soon. Don't know the minimum yet, but plans to raise about N10B.

Bro, Please get your facts right. What is stock market watch magazine going to do with N10 billion? What is it selling at N5? Stock watch magazine?

Nigeria is the best place to make money from Nigerian, the CBN,SEC,NDIC,NSE and the rest are watching us as some of dead companies are coming out to raise money from nigerian through PP,until some bad 419 companies scam on nigerian, the Cbn,sec and ndic started when the wonder banks went away with my people money.I dont know what Stockwatch Magz. going to do with N10 billion, even Guardian, thisday or punch,N10b is too much for them.We need to be very careful with PP,why the so dead companies are just coming out?Because they knows Nigerian believe in NSE to make money.

If they actually come up with a memorandum like this, my take is that nobody in this house should invest.

There are better things to do with our time and money.

Based on what you said, do you think we will see the likes of Guardian, Thisday, Tribune, Vanguard coming to the market???

What does the house think about the publishing industry, are they doing very well??

At least this magazine story gives us an opportunity to take a good look at that sector....

I knew it'll come to this, Nigeria!!!!!!!!!! Afterall a lot of interest was shown in POs last year, why can't we? This is the question most of these frauds will be asking. Please house members the trend i'm noticing is quite disturbing and let us bear in mind that once these monies get into their hands, it's gone. So lets moderate our interest in these PPs, keep our hard earned cash and watchout for more interesting opportunities in the market this year. PPs are easy ways of making money but lets remember that nothing good comes easy especially when almost everyone is now aware. SECs warning was for a reason and shouldn't be overlooked. Imagine Stockswatch!! unto what??

STOCKWATCH PP

Pls don't be too hard on them-abi. May be they want to go global. They may need money to buy private jet for the distribution of their paper- Niger. Gentlemen in the house, do not bother yourself with any analysis, if any, on this pp-if it truely comes out. I will rather exercise my energy on going after interswitch,Starcomm,Negris, & Multilinks

Please can the originator clarify issues and tell us the source of the info. There might be some confusion on the way. It is not imaginable. Maybe Stockwatch is recommending a PP and not for themselves.

Abeg before people loss their temper

I am happy that members are becoming very critical of where they invest their money. at least this posting helped us get that risk and Niger factor back into our minds. never sell your property or borow money from the bank to buy shares if you are not worth that money yourself in some other assests thats important! You can do it and succeed but as a rule "try" not to do it. Resist that greed. Always invest an amount you can write off and gradually you will become rich. Try not become rich overnite!! "try"
Anyway I think Polosco needs to clarify his posting before members loose their cool. people have alreay burnt enough energy screaming at his posting. polosco abeg, u need to calm some nerves down.

Unhappy Alright, Alright!

Thanks for the comments, i need to state clearly that i don't work for the coy, and i don't have any interest in it, i only tried to tell the house d info at my disposal.
One thing i know is that this guy knows his onions, he knows how to sell his mkt even without making it public, as i learnt banks are already swooping on them to hijack d PP, in any case i am not positioning for the PP as i am just growing my investment and i'm not ready to wait for a long time to cut out, d PP will not be listed very soon, so it's not part of my lots.
Individuals are to decide what suits them when an info is released, as for the plans the owner has in mind i know he can deliver, the price will even look too cheap when it will eventually be listed. I wish you all safe sailing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Make una no fez oh!

Default stockswatch

this placement seems a waste of time, they said they were going to price it at N5 and that we had to wait 3 years for the listing, apart from pouring money into the magazine they want to buy companies and run them like warren buffet, i agree the ceo of stockswatch is smart but what qualifies him to be a venture capitalist? wat companies has he run apart from his own? its just a game for themsleves to get rich and pay themselves huge fat cat salaries when we just wait restelessly on the sidelines, theres no magic in this offer im afraid

I really dont blame whoever is coming out for PP, its a free world. Dont be surprise if actually stockwatch comes out with the PP and it is oversubscribed. Everybody have their own dreams and visions, its left for us investors to discern where we want to put our money. I sincerely appreciate this forum bcos its highly educative and informative.
What i dont understand is if its the magazine that he wants to do the PP for or his fund management coy, i know he will be doing a lot of fund management, or is it that he wants to start a Stock broking/issuing house.
I doubt if its the magazine stuff, bcos he is a smart guy and i believe he knows better to price it at 5 naira.

Guys lets just keep our fingers crossed and wait for them to let out the cat from the bag.
Thank God for this forum.
