This turn around by Spring mortgage is coming rather later. I wondered what a mortgage bank whose parent commercial bank is having credibility problem would require investors to buy a minimum of 1,000,000 units.
They now seem to have realized that they got it wrong. I hope they get the monies they want. As for me, I brought into LBIC instead and will definitely not let CHAMS PP pass me by.

Hi Mr. Newton and to every other member, can i please be directed to where i can partake in the Spring and United Mortgage pp.I do hope i am not too late.Newton hinted at many other pp,s going on, can you please share the info?I do appreciate the opportunity to learn from you guys and thank you for everything.

I read this morning (from www. Proshareng.com website) that it was reportted yesterday (i.e. in January 6 2007) issue of The Independent that Spring Mortgage would submit application for listing in the Nigerian Stock Exchange later this month. This suggests that its private placement miight have beem concluded.

I read it in a number of newspapers too that they will be listed next month.
I can assure you that Spring Mortgage will not be listed next month, not even this quarter or the next. That is what they always say so as to attract the funds of "hungry" or do I say greedy investors.
If you get in touch with some of the top guns in the company or the issuing house you might still get a slice of the offer.

The same information concerning listing on the stock exchange this quarter is repeated in greater detail in today's issue of Business Day. I think it may be desirable to confirm the situation directly (if only informally) from the issuer before making likely costly arrangement (e.g., raise loans) to subscribe for the PP.

I understand the allotment was concluded a month ago. Guys from the Bank said this but apart from that they did not let out more info.

certificates were sent out on friday ie 30/05/07 both the 1N and 50kobo norminal value shares were sent, listing due this June 2008 of about 6billion shares expect good things with this one
