I called the company to make inquiries about their plans for re-positioning the mortgage bank. Specifically to know if and when they will be raising funds through pp.
I was told they would be doing a pp around may/june. I however promised to follow up though the lady was keen about my opening an account with them so as to make my buying into the pp much easier

Is it possibel someone in the house has a research report or rating of Savings & Loans?

This is to enable us know which ones are doing very well or badly. This will guide to knowing which ones to invest in.

I believe ACCORD COMMUNITY BANK is a subsidiary of Accord Savings and Loans Ltd (as the 2 coys are located in the same building), Accord Comm. Bank was blacklisted as a failed bank by CBN's OFID (other financial institutions).

Thanks for the link. There are actually 149 of them that have closed shop.

When it comes to Savings & Loans, I think we are all threading in murky waters.

How are we sure we don't have more than 149 and maybe the CBN list is not up to date.

I think we should treat this sector with caution though I am of the opinion it is the next sector to watch out for.
