If it turns out so I go worry especially if the price to book is too high. That is I smell a situation like I will carry far more risk than those currently in.
However if the price to book is still between 1 and 2 I will still be inclined to buy as markets and profits in a manufacuring business may need more time to build up.

Guys,
Pls find attached the PP memo on Multi-trex as promised earlier. Pls be guided as the info is for your critical analysis and informed decision-making. At this extreme bearish market situation, one needs to be too sure of any PP b4 risking any fund at disposal for it. Secondary market is too tempting abeg!!! Cheers. like you rightly said, the secondary market is very TEMPTING now and revealing how overpriced some of these PP are. i have not fully analyse this one but if what i read on proshare is anything to go buy, then this one may be in the overpriced league. A forward PE of 22.0 for 2009 is a no go for me. There are better deals on the floor!!!! Not worth the risk. |

Could have pardoned the low PE for 2009 of 22.1 if not for the high price to book for 2008 that stands at about 5.6 (In future when they list those currently holding the stock will still have a lot to gain even if they sell far below N3)
As already mentioned by others on this thread there are currently better, less risky and more liquid offers in the secondary market.
