Thank you for pointing out that the station in Alasia is still open. I must apologize for being wrong about everything else, although it would be helpful if you can point out where I have been wrong so that I can make corrections where necessary. Fortunately, I do not have anything against the company, all I did was express an opinion. I believe that is exactly what you did too by advising that we should all buy the stock cause the price was going to soar soon. On what basis did you make your call that it was a good buy? I don't believe I told you to keep quiet or that you should go and smell the coffee when you made that recommendation. If you have the company's financials, then please post it here. Thank you sir.

Pls let's try to avoid getting personal as much as possible. What people express here are their opinions whether good or bad. Let's respect that for what it is - personal opinions - and if they run contrary to what we know are true, let's reply with facts.
This is a fora for people interested in pps, so I am sure this one will get willing people if we can get to see the prospectus posted for proper analysis. This usually does more in getting people interested than mere admonitions.

back to the beco thing, its ok if you think so, but if you cannot give any fundamental analysis on the organisation, we will just assume your opinion on the coy is entirely sentimental, which do not have a place in investment.

However, since we have not seen the PP docs, the one billion is it from loans and how deos it reflect? for you know, there are so many cooks when it comes to books these days. So many companies we know (including some operating from one room) are giving us wonderful book values (billions and billions) in these days of PP magic. Please educate us more convincinly about the facts of this placement. We have to be wary the way things are going.

Please experts (obinna and co), be on standby to advice immediately the placement docs are put on site (bico), so that we will not go and sandfill the atlantic ocean once more.

just did a thorough due diligence on this coy, world class! been in business for 22 years with vast interest in real estate, maritime and downstream petrol marketing. solid financials, consistent dividend payments to existing directors. been quiet over-achievers for long. A must buy for me. just left valueline office (the lead issuing house) . oil industry experts are snapping it up. one agent mentioned to me that the young men who run beco have the midas touch.....

after reading your comments i decided to dig deep into beco co. and what i got was quite revealing.. i gather their group assets were consolidated in order to shore up working capital for beco pet.. their total group assets, i.e beco pet, beco concrete, beco properties,beco maritime,beco foods and beco trading is in excess of 10 bilion naira. No fresh loans were taken for the vessel purchases. i spoke to the md on phone , and he says that maximixing share holder value is their major concern for now. i also gather they have two more mega filling stations to commision this month.. their tank farm project is almost consumated..this is the co. to beat.. watch this stock hit 10 naira few days after listing...

Since u know so much about this company could u in ur infinite wisdom direct us to where we could also do our own analysis and not invest based on word of mouth.

try send a link or upload something to the thread then people can do their own due diligence and make up their mind.

Abi u fit be their agent, or family but if u upload of make refernce to soemthing tangible dat people could see or have access to u wouldnt be the only one saying its a good offer

I will suggest that those interested in this PP should wait till the documents are uploaded here and analysed before parting away with their hard earned monies.
Moreover, I don't know what the rush is. Recent developments on the NSE have shown that you can even get these PP stocks on the floor on the same day it's listed and even at a cheaper price. So if by waiting for the PP documents, you miss the opportunity to buy, you can always get it on the floor if you still want it badly.

they consolidated the assets of all their companies? So which company are we buying in the PP? Beco Pet, or the consolidated Beco?

hello guys , why worry about whether or not the company is a briefcase company , we should be interested in the prsospects of the company and their focus , afterall most of all these big companies we see today started small and they have made it to where they are today , why not encourage the small ones that are coming up , afterall we are real time investors and equally likely risk bearers , or are we afraid of taking some risk ? . well , make we shine our eyes sha u never can tell ? . disobey your mind and follow ur instict .
