Bendel Feeds and Flour Mill Ltd PP

i learnt today that Bendel feeds is running its PP presently it has just 4 days to close but of course it can pass thro d back door to enter, it has a former DG of d NSE as a board member, it's selling @ N3.5, min 500,000, amounting to N1,750,000. If anyone is interested get in touch with these people: 08070757585, 08033865828, these are not for me, i got them from a seminar i attended, saturday is d last day you can get this offer from Impact communication and media services, it's like they are selling at a premium dat is wat leads to d high price, but the coy is expected to be listed by August, and d price is expected to go to about N40 trailing the likes of NNFM etc.

Interesting...this is the same company that was barely surviving in the early part of this decade (PBT margin in 2000 was around 0.5%), maybe things have changed since then though.

If you read Dangote Flour's memo, you will see that 2 players (DFL & Flour Mills) control 65% of the market and another two (I believe Honeywell is one) control around 15-20%, leaving the remaining 15%-20 to marginal players like Bendel Feeds. Even in animal feeds, the company was not a major player, SEEPC and Animal Care were the major playes as far as I know (this was 2002 - Livestock was almost dead then). In those days, the company's market share (flour milling) was restricted mainly to Benin and Kano, could not make any impact in Lagos (where the market is).

Apostle Alile (former NSE DG) has always been a member of the board for as long as I can remember (at least since 2001) and I will be very surprised if the price flies from N3.50 to N40; we all know that they will most likely not list in August given our experience with these PPs.

Has any one done business with them? we know Bendel Feeds is a good investment.

Even if it is true that BFFM is doing PP, I think we should be careful with these Impact Communications guys. They are busy organising financial seminars all over the place without delivering on their promises. My experience with them has not been pleasant. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

Really the seminar was organised for the guy to be able to get accross to pple who will come and pay N12000 to enter the meeting of saturday, and be able to get pp info on regular basis which i believe will be sold to them at premiums.

I don't know them at all, i only attended the free seminar to get to know more but he ended up making us feel if we don't get PPs den we are not into d market, we are fools for being in the secondary market. It's a pity.

Just watch it if you are buying thro them.

I attended one such meeting, paid N20,000 to attend another one organised by them at Airport Hotel where the main guy, OLUFADE Bankole Alfred, said we would enter a formal contract to get us in on such deals and promised he would get in touch with us regularly to inform us of PP opportunities. He also said he was setting up a website where members of his club (those who paid the N20,000 to attend the seminar at Airport Hotel) would be given exclusive information on PPs and the stock market generally. Till now, he has not delivered on any of his promises. I have not received a single text message from him since I parted with my hard-earned N20,000.

I have called him several times, but he often sounds like one is bothering his life. And to think he was not like that before we 'dashed' him N20,000 each. I guess he has moved on to exploit other gullible people.

I decided to ignore him because it was about the same time I met him I stumbled on this site. Good enough, I have been getting all the investment tips I need from here.

So, do not be deceived by his sugar-coated tongue. I have every reason to believe he is not real. I have a good mind of turning him over to the law enforcement agencies once I have enough information to nail him. If only I had networked with some of the people we attended the so-called seminar together, I would have been able to turn him in by now.

please u should keep attending such seminers espectially if they are free. let them tell us a private placement in the market and a member of the family may know how we can get it direct. that was what i did with iaa when stockwatch was selling it at premium, i was able to get it directly.

Has any one any further news(latest) on this coy?I understand they had a PP @ N6.20 just after the N3 Pp,which was supposedly tagged an SP(special placement) before doing this new PP.
any ideas how this is possible? any legal implications? is it still a good buy?
