As you might be aware, FSDH SEC (Formerly Counters Trust Securities Limited (“CTSL”), is a dealing member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange and is registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission as a Broker/Dealer, Issuing House, Portfolio Manager and Investment Adviser.

Over the past 13 years, FSDH SEC has become a leading stockbroking company, leveraging on the latest technology in delivering services to our various clients worldwide, who are able to carry out various online transactions from the comfort of their various locations.

Recently, the Securities & Exchange Commission reviewed upward the capital requirements of all capital market operators. FSDH Securities intends to maintain its current status as both an Issuing House and a stock broking firm. Ordinarily, First Securities Discount House Ltd. (“FSDH”) would have increased its stake in FSDH SEC by injecting the additional capital, but it is constrained by CBN regulations which limits its investments in any single subsidiary to 10% of its shareholders’ funds.

Consequently, FSDH Securities is seeking to raise additional capital from investors who share a common vision with the Company. At the end of the exercise, shareholders’ funds would stand at about N3.5billion.
