Naturelle-extracts Private Placement

Naturelle Extracts are currently doing a private placement (1,000,000,000). Spring Capital are the financial adviser and issuing house. Afribank will handle the underwriting. Will try and get the soft copy of the pp.

Gents/ Ladies, this is the craziest PP l have heard of in my entire life KAJOLA investment's package was even better..who do these pips feel nigerians are do they feel money grows on tree hence we just move money at the next impluse abi...pls house we should start screning some of these quack PP, what do they really do? what are their major brands, crazy unrealistic projections...no detials on their socalled world class board in fact l have never heard of some of these bloks....see their mouth like they want to buy a company on the stock market.....abeg some of us should come together and put a pp for our new wifes and girlfriends, l have said this several times

My first impression on reading through is that it was poorly prepared. I noticed loads of typographical errors. The conclusion/recommendation started with one.

I have few questions:

i.Who is A.Y. Lala?
ii. Does this company have a working website as I have not found one?
iii. Does anyone know any of their products?
iv. Is it true that Spring bank (on a firm basis) and Afribank (on a standby basis) have underwritten this? If yes, the company already has all it needs and I wish them luck.

v. Does anyone know anybody in the management?

If truely Spring bank (on a firm basis) and Afribank (on a standby basis) have underwritten this pp,then i am disapointed in them for packaging this type of offer. poorly package.A poorly package product is bound to fail.Since pp are not regulated,how are we sure it is underwritten.I am very sure it is a marketing gimick.Let us beware and not be decived by this isssuing houses

I have not read the memorandum but have relied on the previous few comments condemning the PP. In my opinion, I think poor packaging alone should not be a basis for writing off the the PP as being bad. It is only a sign that we should probe further and buy more information from whatever sources, including its website, the substance of the memoradum itself, etc. Well-packaged PP memorandum does not establish that the PP is good, just as a poorly packaged one does not prove that the PP is bad. An elegantly dressed lady needs not be a good one to marry, just as the one modestly or even poorly dressed one may not be a bad wife after all. A well dressed and eloquent politician is not necessarily better than a stammering, poorly dressed one to elect as a representative. Sometimes, a good and nutritious food is wrongly rejected, because it is packaged in a plastic container, in favour of a less nutritious food packaged in expensive golden chinaware. And so on and so forth. Let us look at the substance and not limit our consideration to only appearance. Ordinarily, I am against PP in most cases. But not for the poor packaging reason being adduced here. That is why I now choose to be the "devil's advocate".

Omo! you need to read it. At first, I thought and i still think it is a joke. Moreover, there's no mention of spring capital & Afribank. i will be very surprised if this is true.

on page nine of the document, it's stated that afribank are the underwriters. Will post more later on.

how do they expect to grow profit of 21 million for Q2 (ended Mar 08) to 460 million for FYE Sept 08. PP ends in mid July so the money will not affect bottomline that much..

Stockvis has been on technical suspension for some time. Naturelle just bought over stockvis!
i am also working on three offers:

NSL (800,000,000 units at 15.50)
Capital Oil special placement 4,000,000,000 50k share at 1 naira each
Capital Oil special placement 1,728,000,000 25k share at 50k each

@bsr, thanks for the information. On Naturelle, I asked few questions earlier which nobody has been able to answer. Lets not worry about it because they have the money already from the banks underwriting.

On Capital oil, is this the one that was suspended due to some dodgy practices on their share price. It was suspended at about N13? Is it the same one?

I look forward to your response on this to enable me comment appropriately.
