This company had a media lunch sometime last month and mention was made of lofty plans it has.
Kajola is said to be the product of OSUN STATE investment summit. Modeled after Transcorp, it's area of investment focus is said to be Agro and alied industries. It PP was supposed to commence shortly. Please be on the look out!

Thaks Faoogoke. Please do you have a link you can post for us to read about this company, i.e what they do, their current assets and bussiness, Management etc.

The company was formed sometime mid last year. It is a new company. It's proposed area of intrest are mortgage banking, agro business, hotels, oil and gas and bussiness finance.
The interim CEO is Abimbola a former V.C of either OAU or UI. They company is still gathering steam. I will pass any info I get as soon as I get it.

The info made available during the presentation of the company is that they hope to list in five years time.
For those look for a medium/long term investment, this is probably it. The gurus in the house should know better.

I think d fact that d coy is tribally biased and fashioned after the odua group doesn't support it much as far as I am concerned plus d name...says it all. Lets see wat they'll come up wt.

Let's spread the information if the pp is out. i guess the coy may have a visionary board that will make money for smart investors like us in the forum.

Placement Strength is in their reputable Board members, some of them renowned Profs, real sector industry gurus holders of national honour and captains of industry.

Their multi-sectoral business interests, strategic levrage on economic prosepcts in Osun State and conglomerate/subidiary struture gives hope. There are several downsides in the prosepctus particularly inadequate information, absence of underwriters and high cost of placement (927% of last y/e OPBT).

Any investment should be based on good estimation of/belive in the managerial ability of the management team and an idea of how the fully paid director's equity have been optimized between July 2007 - Jan 2008. Such investment should be considered as long term.

A strong believe in the BOD and recent oversubscriped PP's band wagon effect (in view of public awareness and growth of NSE) may lead to an oversubscription.

Note: Prof Abimbola is not the MD
