Default Apache Pls Stop This Rumour: I Am Not A Scam, Pls!

@All
I sent "Ogunyemi" emails at ogunyemi@coretrustinvestment.com as follow up to the sterling assurance pp but my emails were being redirected to:
made_ng.yahoo.com and yogunyemi@gmail.com. Is this normal?
Guys please analyse.

In response to the above:

Dear EIC and members,

I find it compelling to write in view of spurious allegations made against me. I AM NOT A SCAM, PLS!

Thanks for your post Apache, Aaaah, Naomi and Lady J.

The Ogunyemi (fake stockbroker on PM News) was clearly stated as Femi Ogunyemi."Femi Ogunyemi, Managing Director of Sebvic Investment Ltd., located at 19, Tinubu Square, Lagos" -PM News

I am unmistakenly Oluyemi Ogunyemi (SMN nickname madeonline) of Core Trust and Investment Limited, 77 Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos (0806259633, 014615946)

(yogunyemi@coretrustinvestment.com,ogunyemi@gmail. com,made_ng@yahoo.com). All three emails are interlinked for ease of attending to so many emails from clients through several windows at a time. That is why they always redirect to across board.

Apache pls kindly substantiate your "credibility issue with facts" it is unfair to raise unfounded allegation. I would also appreciate if you take a look at RiskReturn's assignment on same thread and a second look at the news item raised.

This is a case of mistaken identity.

Please Sir, kindly cross check your facts and put the records straight. I have lived to build a name that should not,and cannot be tarnished becaue I offered to help SMN members with regards to Chams PP. (Ref: See my post on Chams thread of 15/1/2008)

I appreciate Yusuf's (Snr Members) comment posted on the same thread , same day telling me to stop the action or explain how I am connectd to chams. I responded same day stating I ony offered to help with no direct link to Chams.

I also got to discover that Chams was oversubscribed on the same day and ceased collection at Core Trust. No client of ours has complained about the offer or our internal arrangements for that PP or other PPs.

Mr. Apache posted on Chams thread 14/1/08 and made no other post until 23/1/08. Between those dates Mr. Riskreturn (no membership rating) sought to know the link between myself and the PM News publication. None has been established till date. And there was no credibility issue raised against my person.

I therefore find Mr Apaches's allegation that I have "credibility problem" quite provoking and hereby demand that the records be put straight in a manner that would put the case (an obvious case of mistaken identity) pemanently to rest.

Thank you for your audience.

ogunyemi@gmail.com

(WITH DUE RESEPECT I BEG TO STATE THE FACTS)

THE FACTS APACHE (SNR. MEMBER) OVERLOOKED:

1. Astro Jewoola wrote th news item in PM News of 16/1/2008
The NEWS - Articles - Clients Lose N10m To Fake Stock Broker

The FAKE BROKER was named as Femi Ogunyemi, Managing Director of Sebvic Investment Ltd., located at 19, Tinubu Square, Lagos. The journlist ent further to write and I quote "He allegedly paraded himself as a stockbroker, a staff and an agent of Client Lion Stock Brokers Ltd. But it was later discovered that he was operating with forged documents."

2. There was no mention of Ogunyemi Oluyemi, SMN or Core Trust and Investment Limited in the news item.

3. Nickname "Riskreturn" was generous enough to paste the link to the news item on Chams PP thread with a view to finding, in his words; "Any link between this Ogunyemi and the one referred to as a scam broker in the PM news of today (see the lin below to the PM News) or is it a mere coincidence?"

4. No credibility issue has been raised or established against my person on CHAMS PP thread, SMN forum, any other forum or website on the internet or other print or electronic media. I stand to be corrected and would appreciate if any one has any document/informaton/hyperlink to the contrary.

5. "madeonline" is a reputable respected nickname on most Nigerian internet forum, NOT A SCAM. Anyone can do a "google" check.

Default Sterling Assurance’s profit up 110%

The Punch: Sterling Assurance’s profit up 110%

The Chairman, Sterling Assurance Nigeria Limited, Mr. Olabode Emanuel, said on Monday that the company recorded a profit after tax of N250.9m in its financial year ended, March 2008.

This represented a 110 per cent above 120m recorded in the previous 15 months period ending March 2007.

Emanuel said this during the company’s annual general meeting in Lagos.

He said the company recorded a profit before tax of N261.8m in the year under review, 47.8 per cent above N177.1 per cent the previous year.

Gross underwriting premium was N1bn as against N1.6bn recorded in the previous financial period.

The company’s underwriting profit, he added, rose to N277.8m in the year under review as against N180.4m in the previous year, representing a 54 per cent increase.

The chairman noted that the company’s investment and other income stood at N218.9m in 2008, 33.9 per cent above N163.5m in 2007. Emanuel said that the company would give a bonus issue of one ordinary share of N1 each for every eight held, which would absorb the sum of N339.8m.

He added that a Rights issue of one new ordinary share for every two held would also be given, which would bring in additional N1.4bn.

The company, he added, also changed the denomination of the existing shares of N1 each to ordinary shares of 50k.

The chairman explained that in the post-consolidation insurance industry, he hoped that the macro-economic environment would be stable and would make Sterling Assurance achieve steady and profitable growth.

“Sterling Assurance has recorded improvement generally in its financial performances. We will continue to meet the insuring public’s expectations and enjoy the confidence of all stakeholders,” he said.

If this company is part of Sterling Bank, and you own their shares, be careful oo, because when they decide to do reconstruction, you may loose half of your investment. Good luck to you.

Be assured that it is just a coincidence. staff of sterling bank were not aware of the company until when the pp started sometime last year. even when i called sterling capital (former magnum head office) they were confused and they investigated and found out there is a company like that but not in the bank's family. i did not eventually buy because i felt the price was too high. my company use to menage sterling IT dept in lagos before moving to another job in Abuja in late 2006. for that i use to get priviladge info. infact i bought magnum pp to pacify friends otherwise i felt it was too expensive as at that time.
