I saw this same link on their website and sent them an email; the response I got on Wednesday is below

The latest information from Profund is in addition to confirming the April take off date for the private placement is that the price for the rights issue will be N2.50 while for new investors the price will be N2.80 for N1.00 share.
Minimum subscription level is yet to be determined.
Intrested members are advice to check at their web site regularly for more information.
I guess it will be a good buy considering the ownership. NSTIF which has huge amount of cash in it's custody would do it share sales/purchase thru the firm. Three big insurance firms too have stakes in profund.
I beleive that a number of these stockbroking firms would with the huge sums they would raise from their pp would go beyond stcokbroking bussiness into venture capital, micro-finance etc.

Profund intends to list on the NSE after the pp so you'll be able to sell your shares when the company is listed.
