Apache, am i right to assume you have contacted him without you having my details yet cos while still trying to find my way round on how to PM you, an email came from him claiming that he did not receive any email, calls, text or whatsoever from me. Even though the email i sent this afternoon was forwarded with a previous email sent on oceanic bank instructions, the two sms sent to his two mobiles are still in my sent folder.

The email he sent also confirmed that my online access has been reset, tried and it worked!

How do i work out the PM, cos i still would appreciate you having a chat with him on my behalf, if its no trouble to you.

Thanks a million!

I was only comparing it to doing business with my broker where I reside. Nigeria requires some patience as things do not occasionally move as fast as I typically would like.

With that in mind, I get better and faster response from Lead Capital compare to IBTC. I refuse to deal with IBTC my experience with them opening an account was like night and day compared to Lead Capital.

So the bigger the name does not equate better service. Irrespective of the name, you want a firm that understands the fact that your funds do not grow in your yard.

If you are interested, send me a PM and I can link you up with my POC at LC.

Do you get online access to your UBA Stockbroking account? I have an account with them but I'm about closing it and moving to another bank that has online access. I prefer to see my account online than waiting for reports to be emailed to me. I have also had issues with my stock being sold but not represented in my account. Make sure you log into CSCS and compare your statements.

I use Zenith securities and i can recommend you to them. They are prompt in order execution and their rates are favourable. Since you have already thought of moving there, I guess you know the implication innterms of minimum for opening an account

Default Urgent Counsel

I am fed up with stockbroking firms in this country. I keep opening new accounts with diferent stcokbroking firm upon reccomendations that their service(s) is okay only for me to find myself in the same mess.
I gave my aso loans share certificate to my newest broker, DANVANDY SECURITIES about a week before the shares was to be listed hoping that my certificate would be dematerialised on time.
Eachtime I called I was told the processing is going on well but my instincts would always doubt the based on prevoius experiences.
I decided to ask for the lagos phoen number of the stockbroking firm so I can get confirmation from them. To my shock the guy is lagos said he was yet to recieve my share certificate about three week after I gave to the abuja office. The guy did not even know that Aso loan had changed it's registrar, thanking me for providing him with the info.
Another shocker is that the abuja office claimed they have sent the certificate. After a while of calling both side the guy in lagos would not pick whenever I call and the abuja office guys told me to excerise some patience
Right now I have asked that the certificate be returned to me. But I want to know if I can go to first registrar to dematerialse my cert or better still a relaible stockbroking firm that would do the materialisation on time. The stock is rising and time is of the essence. Cheers

Apache

Thanks for recommending Leadcapital. I have opened account with them, really impressed with their service and IT very sound. I must say that Kayode has been very helpful. I will be engaging in more business transaction with them, hope they keep it up.

Thanks so much.

jumyj, Apache, does Lead Capital do online stockbroking and are they quick at executing orders issued online? Also, what's their minimum for opening an individual account?
Expecting your reply ... Thanks

Oh No! Another hope dashed. Isn't there 1 stockbroking firm without a bad testimony??
@kolshady, Do you mean Lead Capital does not carry out orders promptly? Pls give an example of the delay time (1 day, 2 days, or later). What other things don't you like about them?
